Just before Christmas, Enable Ireland Dublin Services in Sandymount unwrapped an early Christmas present which will benefit hundreds of children with disabilities who attend their services.

An anonymous donor at The Community Foundation for Ireland has awarded Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT), in collaboration with EPIC (Empowering People in Care) a grant of €13,300 to carry out the Breaking the Care to Prison Pathway project that will look at alleviating some of the issues Ireland’s young people face upon leaving the care system.

The Community Foundation for Ireland, one of Ireland’s leading philanthropic organisations has today announced that over €30 million has been provided in grants to the community and voluntary sector, mainly in Ireland, since they opened their doors in 2000.
