This fund aims to provide education and further opportunities to former offenders who have experienced imprisonment and issues related to this as well as some current prisoners. Grants ranged between €40 - €1000, depending on need with €1,000 being the maximum amount for a grant per course. Courses sought spanned all levels and types, from short term training to full-time Third Level courses. 77 clients have already completed their courses.

Children with disabilities, people living with illness as well as victims of domestic violence are among the many vulnerable groups to benefit from €5.8 million in funding raised by RTÉ Does Comic Relief and distributed by The Community Foundation for Ireland today (16th December 2020).

We held the first of our VitalTalks series on Domestic Violence. We brought together experts in the area to discuss the current status of domestic violence in Ireland today and how philanthropy can contribute to changing our culture.
