Jackie Harrison: Director of Philanthropy
Prior to joining us in 2010, Jackie was Chief Executive of Philanthropy Ireland and previously held a number of senior roles in the Irish Business and Employers Confederation. A former Director of Inter Trade Ireland, the Digital Hub and Young Social Innovators, in 2001 she was nominated as Chevalier in the French Ordre National de Mérite. In 2014, she was awarded an M. Litt by Trinity College for her research in relation to female philanthropists and also written several reports including “A Guide to Family and Personal Giving” and “How Entrepreneurs View Philanthropy in Ireland”.Her passions are philanthropy, donor care and growing the resources of the Foundation to enable it to meet its mission.

John Sansome: Senior Philanthropy & Development Advisor
John joined the Community Foundation for Ireland in November 2021, having spent over 8 years working in fundraising and development with many charitable organisations, including Dublin Simon Community, Helium Arts, and the Australian Red Cross in Melbourne. Previous to his career in development, John worked with Davy Group in the private clients division for over 4 years. John has an undergraduate degree in Humanities with Dublin City University, where he is also currently completing a Masters in EU Law & Policy. John is passionate about the power of philanthropy and the positive impact it can have in Ireland.
