Families and individuals are at the heart of The Community Foundation for Ireland. For more than two decades, we have been working with individual donors and family donors in Ireland. Helping them set up funds and contribute to vital issues.
Family Donors
Many of our family funds include children and parents and occasionally aunts, uncles, and extended family. A family fund is an opportunity to combine your family’s diverse interests and experience to help others. To help guide you and your family, we offer philanthropy advice when you open your fund.
Individual Donors
Donors often tell us that they choose to give to repay their communities for the opportunities they were given. Helping others to have access to the same opportunities. Whatever your motivation, we can help you support the communities that matter to you.

How To Donate
When you choose to donate, you will have the option to support an existing fund or create your own. Whichever way you choose to give, our experienced Grants & Donors team will help you every step of the way.
Or you can donate to one of our existing funds and join other donors in addressing a particular area of interest. Learn more about these vital issues.

Learning And Sharing
We connect you with important causes and provide opportunities for you to hear directly from non-profit and community leaders.
You will be invited to exclusive, closed events during the year, including the Philanthropist of the Year awards. These events enable our donors to share learnings and experiences. You will also have access to an online donor portal that connects you instantly with projects that need support.
