Over 22-years our donors have supported equality in all its forms by enhancing rights for minorities, giving voice to people ignored because of age, providing leadership on biodiversity and climate action and by using our connectivity to 5,000 community and charitable groups to identify and respond to emerging challenges.
Using four guiding pillars of #SustainableFutures #Inclusive Communities #EmpoweringGenerations #AcceleratingChange our 100 Donor Funds have provided over €110 Million in grants.
By partnering with communities, campaigners and advocates we are achieving real impact. In 2022 alone this was reflected across a range of areas. Major commitments secured in Zero Tolerance, the new national action plan to end sexual violence. Agenda setting research on poverty which informed the national budget. 80 Community Action Plans responding to the Biodiversity Emergency. Improving the lives of 1.1 million children through the RTÉ Toy Show Appeal.
Communications and engagement are crucial if we are to grow philanthropy in Ireland and attract new donors to join our equality mission.
