Maeve McDonnell: Chief Finance Officer


Maeve recently joined the Community Foundation Ireland team as CFO. Maeve is a Certified Accountant with significant financial and senior management experience earned across a variety of business environments, both in Ireland and internationally over the last 30 years. Prior to joining our team, Maeve worked as a management consultant and provided financial and business services to various client companies. Maeve previously worked with Dell and Enet, joining both these companies as they commenced operations where she guided the set-up and development of their finance functions and contributed to the strategic development of each business.

 

 

   David Hickson: Finance Project Manager

 David joined the team in February 2021. He has a single honours degree in history (TCD) after which he completed his ACA articles with Mazars. David has 25     years’ experience in financial controller and finance/managing director roles. He has a post graduate diploma in company governance and direction (IOD 2010)       and a professional diploma in leadership and management (UCD Professional Academy 2020). In 2013 he joined the board of the National Council for the Blind   of Ireland (NCBI) and is the chair of the NCBI finance committee. Having worked in a number of senior roles in the public, NFP and private sector, David brings a   diverse range of experience at both operational and leadership level.

  

 

Cris Nohl: Accounts Assistant

Cris Nohl joined the Shared Services team in the Business in the Community Foundation Ireland as a Finance Administrator in February 2021. In September, Cris joined the Finance team at Community Foundation for Ireland as an Assistant Accountant. Cris holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (NFQ level 8) and has more than 10 years of experience overseeing the day-to-day finance operations in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and Cash Flow.
