On Friday 12th April at an event in Fota Island The Community Foundation for Ireland awarded Dr Tom Cavanagh the Lifetime Achievement in Philanthropy Award in recognition of his significant contributions to communities in Munster and the rest of Ireland. Tom, who started the Tomar Trust some years ago to provide support and resources to community groups has through his generosity created incredible impact for those his philanthropy has reached. The below video outlines just a small sample of the work that has been undertaken by the Tomar Trust and the impact it has had.
