The Community Foundation for Ireland provides grants through its Older Persons Fund to many community and voluntary groups across Ireland. It is also a fundraising organisation.
The Community Foundation for Ireland is holding a series of informal focus groups on Wednesday September 12th at Wynn’s Hotel, 35-39 Abbey St Lr, Dublin 2.
Each group will have a maximum of 8 – 10 people - the discussion will be around charities, future funding for older peoples’ services, philanthropy and wills and by association charitable bequests in wills. It should be interesting and certainly not an everyday topic for most. It would be great if some of our friends and supporters could attend. Time permitting the group may look at other sectors too, for example arts, environment, women and more. The following time slots are available:
- 10.30am
- 12 midday
- 2pm
- 3.30pm
- 5pm – this will have a specific LGBT+ focus
Tea / coffee and sandwiches will be provided for each group.
